When you start a new blog, one of the first things you quickly realise is that getting people to visit it is not as easy as putting up a few articles and waiting for Google to send you traffic.
I have been building websites and creating online content for years, and one thing I have learned is that traffic takes work. There is no magic button you can press that suddenly sends hundreds of people to a new website.
If you are starting from scratch, I would forget about trying to get thousands of visitors straight away. Set yourself a smaller target. Get your first 100 blogging visitors.
Once people start finding your website, you have something to work with. You can see which articles are getting attention, what people are searching for and where your traffic is coming from.
Make your articles useful
I am not a fan of writing an article just to hit a particular word count.
Yes, longer articles can work well when the subject needs more explanation, but adding another 500 words of waffle just to reach 1,500 words does not make an article better.
Write enough to properly answer the question. If that takes 1,000 words, fine.
If it takes 1,500 words, that is fine too. The reader should come first.
That is particularly important now that there is so much AI-generated content appearing online. There are plenty of articles that technically answer a question but sound exactly the same as hundreds of others.
I would rather read something that sounds like a real person sharing what they have learned. That is also what I mean by productive blogging.
It is not about publishing as many articles as possible. It is about spending your time creating content that has a purpose.
MattFeastOnline.com, Why I Created My Online Business Blog
The internet has changed dramatically over the years, but one thing has remained the same: there are still opportunities for people who are willing to learn, create, and build something of their own.
My goal with MattFeastOnline is simple. I wanted to create a genuine online resource where I can share what I have learned about building an online business, affiliate marketing, website traffic, blogging, digital marketing, and making the most of the opportunities available online.
This isn't a website promising overnight success. Instead, it is my personal journey of building an online business and sharing the things I discover along the way.
Why I Started MattFeastOnline
Over the years, I have seen many different sides of online business and internet marketing. There are plenty of opportunities available, but there is also an enormous amount of information that can be confusing, outdated, or simply difficult for beginners to understand.
I wanted to create something different.
MattFeastOnline.com is designed to be a straightforward blog covering topics that can help people understand the online business world.
The idea is to keep learning, keep experimenting, and share that journey with readers.
Building a Real Online Business
One of the biggest lessons I have learned is that building a website is only the beginning.
Creating a website is relatively easy. Building something that people actually find through search engines, visit regularly, and trust is a completely different challenge.
That is why I have been putting time into developing MattFeastOnline.com as a genuine online business blog.
Why I Built a Blog – MattFeastOnline
I'm working on creating useful articles, improving the website, learning more about SEO, and building content that answers questions people are actually searching for.
Search engine optimisation is particularly interesting because you don't necessarily see results immediately.
A new website can take time to establish itself. Articles can take time to appear in search results, and even when pages are indexed, they may take longer to reach meaningful positions.
For me, that is part of the journey.
Learning About SEO and Google
SEO has become an important part of building MattFeastOnline.
I'm learning how keywords work, how to structure articles, how internal linking can help visitors discover other content, and how creating useful content can gradually build a website's authority.
I'm also learning that patience is extremely important.
There is a temptation to publish an article and expect Google to immediately send visitors to it. In reality, building organic search traffic is a longer-term process.
That is why I am focusing on consistently creating quality content rather than trying to take shortcuts.
My aim is to build MattFeastOnline into a website that continues to grow over time.
What Can You Find on MattFeastOnline?
The content on MattFeastOnline covers a range of subjects connected with online business and digital marketing.
Affiliate marketing is one of the areas I enjoy writing about because it provides beginners with an opportunity to learn how online businesses promote products and services.
I also cover blogging and website building because having your own website can provide a foundation for many different online projects.
Traffic is another major topic. A website can contain excellent content, but without visitors it is very difficult to build an audience.
That means understanding different forms of website traffic, including organic search, email marketing, advertising, and other legitimate traffic sources, can be extremely valuable.
I also write about artificial intelligence and how AI tools are becoming increasingly useful for people working online.
My Approach to Online Business
I don't believe there is one magic method that works for everyone.
Building an online business takes learning, testing, patience, and consistency.
What works for one person might not work for another. That's why I prefer to explore different ideas and explain what I discover rather than claim that there is a guaranteed formula for success.
My philosophy is quite simple:
Learn something.
Put it into practice.
See what happens.
Improve it.
Then keep moving forward.
That approach has helped me stay focused on building something rather than constantly jumping from one idea to another.
Why Blogging Still Matters
Some people believe blogging is outdated because social media and video platforms have become so popular.
I don't agree.
A well-written blog can still provide valuable information and answer specific questions that people search for every day.
Unlike a social media post that can disappear from someone's feed within hours, a useful blog article can potentially continue attracting visitors from search engines for months or even years.
That is one of the reasons I decided to build MattFeastOnline around content.
The goal isn't simply to publish articles for the sake of publishing them.
The goal is to build a library of useful information that can continue growing over time.
My Journey Is Still Developing
MattFeastOnline is still a work in progress.
I'm continuing to add new articles, improve the website, learn more about SEO, and experiment with different ways of reaching an audience.
That's actually one of the things I enjoy about running an online business.
There is always something new to learn.
Google changes.
Technology changes.
AI continues to develop.
Online marketing strategies change.
Consumer behaviour changes.
Rather than trying to know everything, I'm approaching MattFeastOnline as a journey where I can continue learning and sharing what I discover.
If you're interested in online business, affiliate marketing, blogging, SEO, website traffic, AI tools, and digital marketing, you can follow my journey at MattFeastOnline.com.
I'm building the site one article at a time and focusing on creating useful content that can help people understand the opportunities and challenges involved in building an online presence.
If you run an online business, a blog, or even a simple landing page, you’ve probably heard the saying “traffic is the lifeblood of every website.” And it’s true. Without traffic, nothing moves. No leads, no engagement, no sales, and no growth. Website traffic isn’t just a number., it’s the fuel that keeps your online presence alive.
In today’s digital world, having a website isn’t enough. You need people actually visiting it, clicking around, and taking action. Whether you’re selling products, promoting affiliate offers, or sharing your expertise, traffic is the key that unlocks every opportunity online.
Why Website Traffic Matters
1. More Traffic = More Potential Customers
Every visitor is a potential lead or buyer. Even if only a small percentage becomes a customer, the more people you attract, the more your revenue grows. Traffic gives you more chances to convert.
2. Traffic Builds Trust & Authority
When people visit your site consistently, Google sees this as a signal that your content is useful. Over time, this helps improve your search rankings, and higher rankings bring even more free traffic. It becomes a powerful cycle.
3. It Helps Test What Works
If you’re building an online business, traffic helps you understand what your audience actually wants. You can test:
Traffic reveals what gets clicks and what doesn’t—making your marketing smarter.
4. Traffic Supports Your Personal Brand
The more people that see your content, the faster your influence grows. Whether you’re teaching, promoting, or selling, a strong audience makes you stand out online.
Different Types of Website Traffic
Not all traffic is equal. Here are the most important types:
Social traffic – Visitors from platforms like Facebook, TikTok, or YouTube.
Referral traffic – Traffic that comes from other websites linking to you.
Paid traffic – Ads you run through Google Ads, Bing, or social media.
A healthy website uses a mix of these for consistent growth.
Why So Many Websites Fail
Many people create beautiful websites but forget one crucial part: getting visitors.
A website without traffic is like a shop in the desert—nobody sees it.
That’s why focusing on traffic is just as important as focusing on content. Even a simple blog post can bring in thousands of visitors if it’s optimized and shared the right way.
Where to Learn About Getting Targeted Website Traffic
If you want to grow your online business faster, you need reliable, real, targeted visitors—not bots or useless clicks. That’s why I created a blog dedicated to helping people understand traffic strategies that actually work.

AI Crypto Trading Bot Review: The Truth About Auto Trading
The world of cryptocurrency moves fast, and traders are constantly seeking an edge. An AI crypto trading bot review can be the key to unlocking smarter, data-driven decisions in volatile markets. But with so many automated trading platforms promising sky-high returns, how do you separate hype from reality?
Automated trading systems powered by artificial intelligence claim to remove human emotions, execute trades with precision, and capitalize on market inefficiencies. These bots analyze historical data, monitor live price movements, and make split-second decisions that no human could replicate.
But can they truly deliver consistent profits? The short answer: It depends on the bot, the strategy, and market conditions. While some AI-driven trading bots outperform manual traders, others may struggle due to algorithmic flaws, unpredictable market events, or poor risk management settings.
What Are AI Trading Bots?
AI trading bots are automated programs that analyze market data and execute trades based on pre-set rules or machine learning algorithms. They work 24/7, removing human emotions from trading and making split-second decisions.
Some bots adapt to market trends, while others follow fixed strategies like arbitrage or trend following. These tools help traders save time and potentially improve profits, but they also come with risks, such as unexpected market crashes and strategy failures.
